Since 2002, RDR has produced numerous health related programs designed specifically for the deaf community. By using deaf actors and working with experts in the health industry, RDR has produced extensive programming on HIV and AIDS, depression, breast health care, diabetes, sexually transmitted diseases and cardiovascular wellness. These video are available worldwide at Advocate Health's website and have been received with universal acclaim throughout the deaf community.
Chris Owens, DDS, leads seminars around the country on laser techniques for periodontal surgery. He wanted to make his seminars available to those unable to attend. RDR produced a multi-camera shoot of one of his seminars which was then edited and converted into streaming video that Dr. Owens now makes available for purchase on the Internet.
Abbott Animal Health, a division of Abbott Laboratories, has had RDR Productions produce two entertaining contest videos geared towards pumping up their field sales force including a variation of ESPN’s “Sportcenter” shot on RDR’s virtual stage and a parody of the hit comedy “The Office”,shot on location at Abbott Labs.


Through a grant funded by the AIDS Foundation of Chicago and the Ravenswood Healthcare Foundation in conjunction with Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, RDR produced a 4 part program designed exclusively for the deaf community entitled "Ignore AIDS? Can't!" This unique program, shot without sound, employed deaf actors who performed the entire program in American Sign Language. It was subtitled in English for the hearing community.

It tells a story, introduced by two deaf hosts, of a young couple who decide to get tested for AIDS before taking their relationship more seriously. The girlfriend, Joy, is black to reflect national statistics that show an alarming number of black women contracting the disease. The couple receives counseling about the disease and how it is spread and they learn after testing that he is HIV negative and she is positive. Later, Joy visits her doctor to learn about the medicaltreatments and medications she will need to endure and in the last segment, now six months later, we get an update from Joy, her boyfriend, and a personal friend about what living with AIDS has meant to all of them. We also hear professionally from her doctor and her counselor as to her medical and emotional condition.
The program has been warmly received by the deaf community and has received nationwide coverage for its unique approach to a difficult subject.
Allstate produces quarterly reports for their in house television broadcasts. RDR, since 2004, has been responsible for creating many of the graphics and animations seen on this programming.
Our most recent Ameritech project, featuring Karen Vessely, President of Business Communication Services, dealt with the high expectations anticipated by Ameritech as a result of their merger with Texas-based SBC.

Arthur Hill and Company is a developer of upscale malls through the United States. To promote their newest construction, Church Street Station in Evanston, Illinois, RDR took existing footage from a recently opened mall in Denver, Colorado to produce a very effective, high energy piece to help develop local interest in this 90 million dollar project.

This well respected company produces lectures on videotape, audiocassette and CD-Rom for 3rd year law students studying for the Bar exam. RDR records these lectures to all of the formats both at Kent School of Law in Chicago and on our soundstage in Northbrook.
Since 2001, RDR has produced a series of on-line training courses for reviewing the CPA exam. Hosted by well known expert, Rick Duffy, this program is simultaneously recorded to digital videotape for viewing purposes, Compact Flash for use in CD format, and audio cassette tape for transcription purposes. To date RDR has produced over 50 of these programs, all shot on our sound stage. RDR has also produced numerous lectures for their BarBri division that deals with the law bar exam and the Stalla Review, designed for Chartered Financial Analyst study.
The parent company of Bosch Corporation, the world class manufacturer of appliances, power tools and auto parts, used RDR to produce a program specifically geared toward the installation of it's line of Series II dishwashers. The program, duplicated to tape and CD-ROM format, has been distributed to retail outlet technicians throughout North America. It is used as a reference guide for the safe and efficient installation of it's dishwashers for it's retail customers.


The CBOE, one of the last "open outcry" marketplaces in the United States remains the leader in the fast pace world of commodites trading. Looking for a way to promote their Hybrid System that unites conventional floor trading with the latest in technology, RDR produced an interactive DVD illustrating the benefits of combining the old with the new.
Since 2001, RDR has packaged weekly TV shows for Christian Science broadcasting in Chicago and Dallas. RDR is responsible for adding voiceover, commercials and some open captioning for this 30 minute program.
A public company trading on the American Stock Exchange as CXN, Circle Group focuses on developing emerging technologies. RDR produced an interactive DVD for them on Z-Trim, a fat replacement additive to foods manufactured by Fiber-Gel Technologies, one of their holdings. The DVD included cooking demonstrations, mediacoverage, consumer feedback and an extensive recipe book. The DVD can be ordered on-line or is given free with the purchase of Z-Trim.

Illinois' largest independent banking chain hired RDR to produce a 70th year anniversary retrospective on the chain's origins, its growth, where it is today, and its aspirations for the future. Through the use of archival photographs and newly shot video, including interviews with company executives and long time clients, RDR provided Cole-Taylor with a Multi purpose video. One that is being used to help acquire new clients and at the same time, one that exposes new hires to the values and cultures of this ever expanding Illinois giant.

A retailer and e-tailer giant in computer sales hired RDR to produce an instructional video on telephone sales techniques. This successful program is shown to all newly hired telephone sales staff.


Continental Electrical Construction Co., an 85 year old Chicago based company whose projects have included the Sears Tower, McCormick Place and White Sox Park asked RDR to create a 10 minute promotional piece detailing the history of Continental Electric and its potential for growth in the Chicago market.

Hitachi Tools, a division of Hitachi Global, commissioned RDR to create a number of point of sale videos for their power hand tool line. These videos were shot on RDR’s virtual stage and were featured on Sears.com
On the last weekend of the 1999 baseball season, the Chicago Cubs hired RDR to document a behind the scenes look at the gathering of the greatest players in Cubs history in the 20th century. We conducted interviews with the 11 surviving players who were there, including Hall of Fame members, Ernie Banks, Billy Williams and Ferguson Jenkins as well as future Hall of Famer, Sammy Sosa.
For the past four years, Dollar Rent-a-Car has used the post production facilities of RDR to promote their semi-annual corporate meeting and to highlight various districts within the company.
Eagle Home Loans provides mortgages in the home loan industry. RDR produced a 30 second spot with voice over provided by Chicago television personality Chet Coppack, to promote their business.
One of Chicago's longest running local TV ad campaigns and arguably one of its most controversial is the series of Eagle Insurance spots. Intentionally produced as campy with the look and feel of low budget, its run of over 9 years attests to its success. It has been written about in various publications including the Chicago Tribune, been a topic of discussion on talk radio, seen on the BBC in a program about American advertising, and featured on The David Letterman Show in a bit on local TV ads.
It can be seen daily on Chicago television, most frequently on the morning talk shows. The trilogy of commercials, one of which features nationally syndicated shock jock Mancow Muller, can be seen daily on many of Chicago's local television stations. A fourth commercial, produced in 2001 helped jump start Eagle's latest venture, Eagle Home Loans. In April, 2002, the spots won the "Fool of the Year Award" at the grand opening of the Noble Fools Theatre new $14 million facility
located in downtown Chicago's theater district.

Based in Great Britain, this world leader in the design and manufacture of components for the digital phone, microwave and broadband industries commissioned RDR to produce an up-to-the minute profile featuring the latest technology in broadband applications and how it's fueled steady growth and profitability as an industry innovator.
General Motors College, the training arm of America's largest car manufacturer, hired RDR to produce a series of vignettes on how to deal with difficult situations and phone etiquette at automobile dealerships. The correct and incorrect approach to handling irate consumers and personal dynamics between car salesmen were addressed. These programs were then broadcast on the GM satellite network.

Goebberts Farm is known for it's 50 ft. Happyjack pumpkin that greets each visitor to its farms. Goebbert's, Inc. required a vehicle to greet and orient the thousands of school children who annually visit the two facilities from April thru November, most notably during the late fall season. RDR produced a program with friendly "Farmer Jim" who provides children with a video tour of the South Barrington, IL and Hampshire, IL farm operations. Each facility
makes the showing of the program a daily ritual in acclimating their young, wide-eyed visitors.
Needing a promotional video to help raise funds for this private day school, RDR produced a ten minute video detailing, through interviews and b-roll, the virtues of this 40 year old institution. The video was shown at a gathering of 800 people and was not only warmly received but also was successful in raising additional funding.
A wacky approach to Chicago's very own Home Run Inn Pizza features a nerdy character and his failed attempt to convince the president of Home Run Inn Pizza to heed his advice.

Hostmark manages hotels throughout the United States. For the past 5 years, RDR has produced an annual feel good piece highlighting key employees from every location.
In a bold and ambitious project, RDR Productions produced a 22 minute documentary, underscoring the challenges and problems being faced by grade schools throughout Illinois. An RDR Producer and crew, along with IEA officials, toured school systems from suburban Chicago to downstate Illinois and several points in between. Comprised of interviews with administrators, teachers and students, this program was aimed at state legislators, the Governor of Illinois and civic organizations to focus on the volatile issue of funding for state school systems.
Intelligent Robotics has invented a new type of railroad crossing consisting of articulated gates which prevent impatient drivers from making the potentially fatal decision to run the crossing. To demonstrate this technology, RDR created a 4 minute 3D animation with a variety of scenarios illustrating the benefits of this system and the deadly hazards of a conventional railroad crossing.

With Middle East tensions reducing American travel to Israel, the Ministry hired RDR to produce a promotional video on the virtues of visiting this beautiful country.
The Jewish Film Showcase, part of the Jewish Broadcasting Network (JBN) is a weekly program seen on AT&T Cable throughout the greater Chicagoland area. It features critically acclaimed and award winning documentaries and films. Each program deals with a Jewish theme and many are hosted by a variety of Jewish celebrities. RDR was hired to produce all the host segments working with such actors as William Shatner, Elliot Gould, Tom Bosley, Lanie Kazan and Robbie Benson. RDR also has the responsibility of editing each of these shows into a 90 minute format. Our company produces all the commercial spots for the program and created the 3-D animations for the show opening and network ID. Now in its second year, we have also produced original programming for the network including concerts, news shows and sporting events.
KDA, an $80 million dollar a year reseller of kitchen appliances and cabinets needed a corporate image piece to show at a gathering of their vendors. Done on short notice and told through interviews with key executives, this high impact 7 minute video has since been converted to CD and has been used successfully as a selling tool to help market the company. Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University's businessschool, considered one of the top two MBA schools in the country, recently held DFC 2001. The 7th annual Digital Frontier Conference was an opportunity for individuals to learn more about the current state of the Internet through speakers from NetZero, Priceline and other successful dot.com as well as Microsoft and other software developers. RDR was responsible for creating thekickoff to this event by producing a highly charged 5 minute opening video. Since 1999 RDR has also produced a DVD of Kellogg's annual Special K! variety show performed by their MBA students.
Shot on film, this humorous 30 second spot exploits the "dangers" of cooking with La Rosa Pasta.

LaSalle Home Mortgage, a division of ABN AMRO, one of the world's largest financial institutions, needed a video for their annual meeting on the island of San Maartin in the Caribbean. Highlighting the successes of various individuals in the company, the video opened the awards segment of their meeting and was met with positive reviews.
Luxottica, the Italian based parent company of LensCrafters, North America’s largest chain of prescription eyewear, was looking for a way to document, “The Ideal Customer Experience”, based on a letter sent to the company from a satisfied consumer. RDR interviewed the author of this letter against a green screen wall and transformed a somewhat mundane interview into a visually stimulating program by enhancing the background with graphics, text and images. The video was shown on a giant projection screen at an annual national meeting of their company in Cincinnati, Ohio and has been distributed throughout the chain to illustrate how to best service customers.
LG Electronics had never produced a video in their home appliance division outside of Korea. Working with their Lincolnshire, Illinois office, RDR produced two exciting videos for their new Trio refrigerator, one designed as an instructional DVD for sales associates and the other as a streaming consumer video.
LinksCorp, owners and managers of golf courses throughout the Mid South and the Southeast runs regional TV spots on Local broadcasts and cable stations promoting their golf courses. RDR, working with a local marketing firm, Deppe and Associates, run by a 20 year Leo Burnett alumnus, has been the post production house on all of these very successful ads.
Lakeview Associates, a unique apartment finder company focusing on unusual properties in Chicago commissioned RDR to produce a series of high quality Internet videos for use on their site as a means of generating interest in their recently remodeled locations.
Midas International, known throughout North America as one of the nation’s premier auto repair shops for mufflers, brakes and tires asked RDR to produce a series of videos for their tire division demonstrating company approved techniques for their service technicians to follow when dealing with a variety of tire issues.
The automotive aftermarket division of Morton International had RDR videotape a weeklong seminar focusing on various management teams and different aspects of customer service and quality control. RDR then edited the seminar to a more concise length.
Motorola has used RDR a number of times in recent years to produce marketing pieces on new products. Additionally we have produced numerous in-house communication videos.
Disability Awareness is a problem that plagues schools throughout the country. How to deal with children with special physical and emotional needs has been an issue in many school districts. By interviewing, school administrators, principals, teachers, parents, and siblings of those familiar or experienced with this issue, RDR produced a meaningful video that has made its way to many school districts in northern Illinois in the hoes of sensitizing adults and children to the needs of those less fortunate.
One Plus Corporation, designs electronic waste management devices for large businesses. RDR has produced numerous promotional pieces for this company, some of which have included 3D animations designed by our graphic artist.

The Panera Bread Company, with restaurants nationwide, needed a training module demonstrating the do's and don'ts in its stores. By combining actors and actual customers in a live restaurant, RDR created a "documentary" on the day in the life of a Panera Bread store subtly illustrating proper and improper behaviors by store personnel.
Once each year, Pepsi USA, the parent company for the soft drink giant, bestows the Kendall Bottling Award for Excellence in Service and Efficiency to one outstanding bottling division. The 2001 honor went to the Chicagoland Bottling Association. RDR was called upon to produce a video tribute of the Chicago operation during an award presentation shown to Pepsi executives in New York City. The success of that video led to a second program entitled
"The Power of One" highlighting Pepsi's successful effort to gain a stronger presence in the urban market thru increased ethnic point of purchase displays. It featured testimonials from ethnic merchants and Pepsi and Frito-Lay account executives and clearly illustrated the two divisions efforts to increase their in-store footprint. All this was edited together into a fast paced, MTV-like presentation.
PCG needed video shot in New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Phoenix and San Francisco of their analysts. RDR handled the production in Chicago and was responsible for hiring local crews and overseeing production in each of the other cities. Once all the footage was shot, RDR edited the program into a highly successful piece seen throughout the Prudential Capital Group. The video was designed as a recruitment piece and was well received by senior management.
Publicly traded RC2 Brands, a leader in the toy industry has used RDR a number of times. Our most recent project was the Johnny Lightning 30 second toy commercial, featured on the Outdoor Channel's weekly truck rally show, "Monsters of Destruction". Utilizing the unique Revolution lens, best known for its use in the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, RDR was able to bring the Johnny Lightning miniature cars and trucks to life, creating a powerful and successful ad.
Sg2 provides future focused analysis for the health care industry. RDR has produced a number of web based videos on a variety of topics through a series of interviews with professionals in the health care industry
RDR's relationship with Sears began in 1993 with a program entitled "Introduction to Computers". The enormous success of that program has led to the production of over 200 projects for one of America’s largest retailers. Our work and understanding of the Sears culture has enabled us to produce many programs for virtually all facets of this corporate giant. We have produced programming for all the vertical businesses of Sears including Brand Central, HomeImprovement, Home Services, Apparel, Fine Jewelry and Automotive as well as special projects for the operations and corporate sides of the company. We played a role in helping Sears design their unique selling process, known as "Creating Customer Enthusiasm" and had a significant hand in helping to develop "The Sears Tear-Away" a tool used by sales associates to help facilitate sales. We also have produced the video segments on over 40 interactive disks for the company. Recently, our involvement in producing video segments for the Home Appliance group's core curriculum interactive disk series has earned us Sears' highly coveted Vendor Appreciation Award.
Our X-Files spoof, entitled "The Y Files", produced in cooperation with the United States Department of Labor and dealing with youth compliance in the workplace, was nominated for the Sears Chairman's Award and was featured in an issue of Chicago's Screen Magazine. In addition to productions on new in-store cost cutting initiatives and a point of purchase video on infant car seats and cribs, RDR has turned its attention to providing digital content for Sears' new national employee focused e-learning system.
After the merger in 2005 between Sears and Kmart, the newly formed Sears Holdings Corporation (SHC) had RDR create internal DVD, seen by every employee of the company. The blending of two companies means the merger of two cultures and by interviewing high ranking executives at SHC, including Chairman of the Board, Edward Lampert, RDR put together a 90 minute program defining the values and corporate culture of this new retail giant. The program was also translated into Spanish. Among our Sears/Kmart projects in 2006 were an extensive interactive DVD on the Kmart Garden and another one on the relaunch of Sears' Home Appliance business. This DVD contained video clips, graphic screens, and animations and was praised by the top executives in the company for its creativity and thoroughness in detailing extensive changes in their 7 billion dollar a year home appliance business. Among the numerous projects for 2007 were two point of sale DVDs seen by the general public on the launch of the new Sears DieHard Platinum battery.
Produced in DVCPro HD, using Panasonic's high definition Varicam, this 45 second sizzle video features Scoozie, an interactive pet ferret. Scoozie can talk, move and react to its owner. Complete with original music and original cell animation, this video was a hit in 2006 at the world famous New York Toy Fair. We followed this up in 2007 with a series of point of sale videos for Senario's interactive video game division. These videos were seen in the toy department of most Macy Stores during the holiday season.
After 40 years of existence, this once fledgling institution has grown to two campuses and over 1100 students. To celebrate their 40th year and to raise additional funding, RDR was commissioned to produce a 10 minute video detailing the virtues of this institution of conservative Jewish learning. Using a techniqueknown as rotoscoping, RDR was able to create a very unique look to this video by electronically removing the subjects interviewed from their environment and placing them in a virtual setting. The video was praised not only for its look but also in its ability to deliver the message the school was striving to get across.
The fledgling United States Professional Volleyball League, the first all female volleyball organization of its kind, is making its debut in a big way with a national tour in 2001. As part of this promotion, RDR has produced several vignettes featuring interviews with each player, complete with matching practice footage. Each vignette has been sent to TV stations in the respective player's market to add a hometown identification to the player, and the league as a whole.
The league just completed its first championship season in the spring of 2002.
Weil-McClain a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of gas and oil-fired hot water and steam boilers for space heating in residential, commercial and institutional buildings based in Michigan City, Indiana, had RDR produce a series of training videos designed for contractors on the proper way to install, operate and maintain a large segment of their product line.
